All of our decks are built to last and are low maintenance
We only use the highest quality materials, not only the material you can see, like vinyl, PVC boards, lumbers, railings, stringers, but also the material you can’t see, from glue to screws
We set high standards for installation and all of our installers are trained to comply with these standards: We always recommend screw pile footings for decks that never heave or sink; our vinyl will be applied 6” up into the wall for perfect sealing; our aluminum railings and stairs are cut to fit and assembled in our shop and installed on your deck as a whole piece, etc…
All the decks are built to meet the building code to avoid any potential problems if you sell your home

				I am a really picky customer when it comes to home renovations, so I am usually disappointed with some aspect of the work.

However, Mountain View exceeded my expectations some years ago when they installed very high quality railings on our decks, and they still look great.  We hired them recently to replace the coverings on our 3 decks, and they again exceeded my expectations at each stage of the process, sales through to completion.

The estimate was very precise and included the cost implications of potential worst-case scenarios, such as concealed rotted joists, etc.

Mountain View’s attention to detail was impressive. When I saw them using a laser level within the first few minutes of arriving on site, I had a very good feeling about the job. They straightened out and re-sloped my 35 year old deck, and replaced a few rotted joists.  The three-man crew were hard-working, sometimes in heavy rain, were courteous and friendly, and kept the work-site tidy. Even our neighbours commented on the quality of the work.

Steven kept us apprised of progress and the issues throughout the 4-day project to make sure there were no surprises. In fact, the only surprise was that despite a few unforeseen problems which required extra work, the final invoice came in nicely below estimate.

After two very successful projects, I highly recommend Mountain View Sun Decks.

The three-man crew were hard-working, sometimes in heavy rain, were courteous and friendly, and kept the work-site tidy. Even our neighbours commented on the quality of the work.

				Have you ever seen a deck and thought to yourself "that looks great, but it would look better if I couldn't see all the screw nails"? Well, I saw two decks that I liked, except for the screw nails, NOT Mountain View. I decide to go with  Mountain View and a design I liked and when the installer started to build the deck, I  noticed that there were NO screw nails showing. I asked him how the deck was going to stay down. He said " I use a clip system". Well 5 plus years later and my deck (no maintenance) still looks great and I have had lots of compliments on it. Oh yes, they were on time and on budget and cleaned up everything.

We just moved and had another quote by Mountain View and I have to say I was stunned. The cost of the new deck would be smaller and it was so insanely expensive! Wish we could go with them, but to be honest, we don't feel like paying over $20,000 for a deck!

We just moved and had another quote by Mountain View and I have to say I was stunned. The cost of the new deck would be smaller and it was so insanely expensive! Wish we could go with them, but to be honest, we don't feel like paying over $20,000 for a deck!
